What is the use of the two contacts of the normally open and normally closed button switch?

It is used when the button is self-locking, and the emergency stop is generally normally closed. There is no difference between NO1, NC1, and NO2 and NC2.
Normally closed contacts are used to close the circuit when you press it down.
Under normal circumstances, there will be a maintenance relay in this circuit to keep the circuit connected. That way when you release the button, the loop remains energized through that hold relay, allowing the system to function properly.
Until a termination signal such as a key off or an emergency stop arrives.
