A Illuminated push button switch is a manually operated (finger or palm) control switch with a power indicator light and the ability to store energy and reset. It is composed of operating system, contact combination and power indicator light (there can only be one power indicator light).

 

  1. How to understand the button switch with light

Illuminated pushbutton switch refers to a control switch that uses the button to push the transmission mechanism to make or disconnect the moving contact and the static contact and keep the line reconnected. The switch button is a main command electric with a simple structure and a wide range of applications. In the electrical automatic control circuit, it is suitable for manual transmission of control signals to operate DC contactors, relays, electromagnetic starters, etc.

 

  1. The basic principle of the button switch with light

There are many structural types of illuminated pushbutton switches, which can be divided into conventional button switch, mushroom head switch, latching switch, self-recovery switch, rotary head switch, power symbol indicator lights, illuminated symbol switch and key switch, etc. Single-button, double-button, triple-button and different combinations are generally made of building blocks, which are composed of key caps, return springs, bridge contacts and shells, usually made of momentary switch, with one normally open and one normally close, some products can increase the number of contact pairs according to the series connection of several components. There is also a type of self-locking switch, which can maintain the closed position by itself after pressing, and can only be opened after the power is off.
